Brief description

For a new automobile plant of the joint venture between Fiat and TATA in Ranjangaon, India, the logistics had to be defined and tuned to the interfaces of production.

The requirements of the joint venture partners had to be regarded as well as the requirements of world class manufacturing. A simple Excel-based tool for the further logistics planning was implemented.

Call for tenders were made for the material handling (warehousing and line feeding).
